Superintendent's Message

A Message from the Superintendent

Mr. Dube

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! My name is Matt Dubé, and I am honored to serve as the new Superintendent of Crestview Local Schools. As an educator and leader, I’m both proud and humbled to join a district with such a rich tradition of excellence, community pride, and student-centered values.

While I may be new to this role, I’m certainly no stranger to the importance of strong schools in vibrant communities. I’m excited to work alongside our exceptional staff, dedicated families, and outstanding students as we continue to build on the traditions that make Crestview such a special place.

This year brings new energy and fresh faces to our district. I’d like to extend a warm welcome to the newest members of our Knight family:

Hailey Waltmire – Elementary LatchKey Director
Jessica Heckler – Sixth Grade Language Arts Teacher
Lillie Rosebrock – Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher (Middle School/High School)
Jeri Morris – High School Paraprofessional (Study Hall and Special Education)
Coty French – Middle School/High School Physical Education and Health Teacher
Lauren Burt – Middle School/High School Vocal Music Teacher
Susan Sanderson – School Nurse
Anne Myers – Director of Program Services
Doug Etzler – A.M. Route Bus Driver
Dawn Grubb – Food Service Cook

We are thrilled to have each of these individuals join our team and contribute their unique talents and dedication to serving our students and community.

As we begin this school year, our commitment to preparing students for life beyond graduation remains as strong as ever. Through our continued focus on the Portrait of a Graduate, we aim to equip every student with the skills, mindset, and character to succeed, whether that’s in college, a career, the military, or any path they choose. Our efforts will center on collaboration, integrity, adaptability, and lifelong learning.

Our website remains a key resource for district news, academic and activity calendars, student information, and updates that highlight the incredible things happening in our classrooms and beyond. We encourage you to stay connected and involved, it takes all of us to support the success of our students.

Thank you for your support, your trust, and your commitment to Crestview Local Schools. I’m looking forward to an exciting year full of growth, achievement, and Knight pride!

Warm regards,

Matt Dubé
Superintendent, Crestview Local Schools
