Middle School Patriot's Pen Winners Recognized

Crestview Middle School recently recognized students who placed in the Van Wert County Patriot’s Pen Competition at a varsity boys’ basketball game halftime. Middle School Principal Mr. Trent Kreischer and VFW Post 5803 representatives Suzi McClure and Pat Freeman honored seventh graders Ryaln Young (1st Place) and Cole DeWert (2nd Place) for their winning essays based on the prompt “How are you inspired by America?”. Sixth grader Carter Dull earned 3rd Place honors but was absent from the recognition.
