Elementary Students of the Month - April/May

Crestview Elementary recently named its Students of the Month sponsored by Van Wert Cinemas. Students making the Knight Leader Board each month will be put into a drawing for a free 30 day pass to the movie theater for their entire family!

Best creates artwork for Portrait of a Graduate

Crestview Local Schools would like to recognize Ethan Best for his creation of the Portrait of a Graduate competency icons. Ethan worked with the District Design Team and took their ideas and was able to create five icons. The district will use these icons to help showcase the competencies: Innovative Thinker, Interpersonal Communicator, Integrity Driven Decision Maker, Informed Citizen, and Invested Worker. Ethan worked on this project during his independent art study and on his own time.

April/May Portrait of a Graduate Awards

Crestview students from the early childhood center, elementary school, middle school and high school were recently recognized as the school’s Portrait of a Graduate Award winners for the months of April and May. The Portrait of a Graduate is a plan developed by district teachers and administration that prepares students for life-long success. Each month teachers nominate students who exemplify the competencies of the Portrait which include Innovative Thinker, Integrity-Driven Decision Maker, Interpersonal Communicator, Invested Worker and Informed Citizen.

CHS Pops Concert Friday

The Crestview High School Music Department will present their Pops Concert, Friday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditeria. Admission is free and doors open at 7:00 p.m. The jazz band, high school concert band, high school chorus and Knight-Vision show choir will be performing. Pictured is the Crestview show choir Knight Vision who will perform their competition show that evening. Dakotah Nihiser, a member of Knight Vision is receiving cancer treatments. Donations for Dakotah and her family will be collected that evening.
