Crestview Local Schools (“District”) is requesting qualifications for Architectural and Engineering
Design Services for their proposed Districtwide Improvements project. The District seeks assistance for comprehensive design and construction administration services in the development of their proposed Districtwide Improvements project.

The District wishes to contract with an experienced architectural and engineering design firm for technical assistance in the design and implementation of a solution. A selection of a firm will be
based upon specialized experience or technical expertise of the firm and its personnel in connection with similar projects and the firm’s past record of performance with other similar clients.

In collaboration with Garmann Miller, the District’s proposed vision includes, but is not limited to, construction, equipping, renovation, improvement, and installation of various school facilities projects on their existing school campus. The proposed scope of work includes but is not limited to, high school building renovations and/or additions; flooring; bleachers; playground renovations and new equipment; paving and asphalting; a new bus maintenance building; fencing and gates; press boxes; athletic equipment; turf; athletic stadium/field work; concessions; dugouts; batting cages; and landscaping and site work; including all necessary appurtenances thereto.

The District is undecided on the project delivery method and may elect to implement multiple delivery methods for these various subprojects as deemed most effective by the District. The District’s budget for the total scope of the work is approximately $11,000,000.

The District has developed a preliminary program and scope of work of their proposed existing high school gymnasium renovation project and it includes, but is not limited to, the following: selective demolition (bleachers, stage, lower level locker rooms, etc.), structural modifications to add a new floor at the same finish floor level of the gymnasium and also a tiered bleacher
seating area at the end court of the gymnasium, two new locker rooms and associated restrooms/showers, new coaches offices, new wood gymnasium flooring system, new telescoping bleachers, new concessions, new storage rooms, two batting cages, and other miscellaneous upgrades and improvements.

The District intends to begin a portion of the design work on the high school renovations in the summer of 2025 with an anticipated contractor bid event in late 2025. The District anticipates beginning a portion of the construction work in the existing high school building in the spring of
2026 after the conclusion of the varsity girls and boys basketball seasons. Construction is anticipated to take place through the fall of 2026, but a phased renovation is still under evaluation.

Qualifications received will be evaluated and ranked based on the following information, as
required by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.65, et seq., to determine the firm most qualified to
provide the required services in a manner determined in the best interest of the District. The District intends to enter into an agreement for architectural and engineering design services with the selected firm.

It is the District’s intention to provide open competition for the aforementioned professional services, where firm's qualifications are evaluated, and once a firm is selected, fair and reasonable compensation is negotiated. Interested individuals and firms are invited to submit evidence of their professional qualifications, and related information as follows:
