1.     The following student(s) please come to the office:  Kiara Anderson, Holden Thornell, Kortnie Galloway, Cameron Sinn and Wyatt Richardson.

2.     The following student(s) please go to the Guidance Office:  Elijah Godsey and Caitlyn Baker.

3.     Senior girls interested in representing Crestview in the 2018 Peony Pageant should pick up an application packet from Ms. Metzger’s room. Applications are due tomorrow.

4.     Ticket sales for “The Little Mermaid” are in the high school office.  Reserved seating is $7.  The dates are Saturday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 12 at 3 p.m.

5.     Juniors & Seniors:  A college rep from Northwest State will be here tomorrow.  If you are interested in speaking to their rep, please sign up in the Guidance Office.

NO KT due to Early Dismissal.  Students are to leave the building right after school.  Detention will begin at 1:15 p.m.

FRIDAY:

NO KT due to 2:30 p.m. Pep Assembly.

7.     Any High School Cross Country runner that has summer incentive mileage to turn in should see Coach Bagley by tomorrow.

8.     Senior Cross Country runners are reminded to turn in the script for their awards night speech by tomorrow.

9.     Presale tickets for tomorrow night’s varsity football playoff game at Lima Sr. stadium with Minster will be on sale today and tomorrow from 7:45-3:15 in the A.D. office. Presale price is $8 for all tickets.  Crestview will get $1.20 for every presale ticket sold at Crestview.  All tickets at the gate are $9.  Gates open at 6:30.  Game starts at 7:30.  Crestview is the home team and will sit on the west side.  There will be a $3 parking fee.

10.Tomorrow will be Spirit Day to celebrate the football team and the cast members of “The Little Mermaid.”  Make sure to wear your red, white and blue!

Crestview juniors and seniors welcomed 17 recent alumni back to the halls of Crestview on Friday, January 5th, to help give them some insight into life after high school in regard to college and career choices. 
The graduates shared their individual experiences at various colleges across the state and
country with the students. They answered questions from students about dealing with roommates, choosing a major, study habits, meeting new people, class sizes, moving away from family, among others. The alumni gladly shared their insights and tried to help enlighten students and ease some of their concerns and fears related to college. 
Principal Mike Biro said, “I believe this program is very valuable as it’s not teachers and counselors talking but students, whom they might know, and their personal experiences assisting fellow Knights with the future.”
Junior S. Chorvas said, “I thought it was nice to hear from different perspectives on college life, those involved socially and those not involved.”
“I’ll be commuting so it’s a bit different for me, but I thought they shared some good information,” said senior B. Engelman.
This is the second year in a row that Crestview has invited a group of graduates to talk with students. read more...

The second round of Crestview High School RMA Award recipients were recently recognized at a varsity boys' basketball game. The Convoy Community Foundation, in conjunction with Crestview High School, has established the “Crestview High School RMA Award” this school year. The recipients included: J. Thomas, K. Leeth, E. Greulach, S. Smith, C. Young and L. Schumm.

Students are nominated for the award by fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and administration for exhibiting strong character, leadership, service and school pride — all vital pieces of the Right Mental Attitude (RMA).

The foundation, led by president Greg Kulwicki, funds the purchase of t-shirts for the recipients along with gifts from the following Convoy community merchants: Knight Pizza, D’s on Main, Pizza Hut, Shear Magic, the Sophisticut, the Secret Garden, and Convoy Tastee Freeze, along with individual donors. Parents of the winners receive dinner from The Tavern in Convoy.

RMA Awards are presented weekly and are recognized in small groups throughout the year at home sporting events.
