The Kindness Empowers You (KEY) program was created by junior, Chelsea Taylor, during her sophomore year. This school year the KEY Program has blossomed. Chelsea’s current focus for the program is in the high school end of the building, however she has ambitions to bring it to the elementary end starting next year. The focus of the KEY Program is to inspire students to be kind and welcoming towards one another. The KEY Program organizes various projects throughout the school year to subtly influence students to be instinctively and unconditionally kind. In the future Chelsea hopes to expand the program’s influence not only in the school but in the community. Her goal is to create a chain of kindness that will greatly impact the attitude of our community.

The purpose for creating a tee shirt fundraiser is to raise money to fund various projects of the KEY program such as Mix-It-Up day, Thank-You Post it's, Color away Stress, and much more. Chelsea choose to create tee shirts for a fundraiser to expose the unity that kindness can bring. Kindness connects people in a way that hate cannot. She can't wait to see everyone wearing the KEY shirt, united and supporting her passion to spread Kindness unconditionally, universally, and continuously.

The fourth round of Crestview High School RMA Award recipients were recently by principal Mike Biro and Greg Kulwicki of the Convoy Community Foundation. The Foundation, in conjunction with Crestview High School, has established the “Crestview High School RMA Award” this school year. The recipients included: freshmen S. Kline and sophomore foreign exchange student A. Balimbingan. Students are nominated for the award by fellow classmates, faculty, staff, and administration for exhibiting strong character, leadership, service and school pride — all vital pieces of the Right Mental Attitude (RMA).
The Foundation, led by president Greg Kulwicki, funds the purchase of t-shirts for the recipients along with gifts from the following Convoy community merchants: Knight Pizza, D’s on Main, Pizza Hut, Shear Magic, the Sophisticut, the Secret Garden, and Convoy Tastee Freeze, along with individual donors. Parents of the winners receive dinner from Gibson’s Barnyard BBQ in Convoy.
