Crestview 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders participated in the Van Wert Medical Services’ Kids Health Fair. Students were able to learn about healthy lifestyles from a multitude of area agencies. Several stations were set up near the athletic fields for students to rotate though as they learned about living healthy and making lifestyle decisions that promote wellness. The various agencies that were part of the program include Van Wert County General Health District, Lutheran Mobile ICU and Air, Van Wert YMCA, Westwood Behavioral Health Center, Gaylord E. Leslie Wellness Center, Pregnancy Life Center, Van Wert County Hospital Physical Rehab, Van Wert Smiles/Dental Center of Northwest Ohio, Convoy Fire and EMS, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Deputy James Roehm and Kane – K9 unit with the Van Wert County Sheriff Department, Van Wert County Hospital Emergency Department and Education Departments.
