Members of the Crestview Football Team and Football Cheerleaders were acknowledged on November 18, 2014 at their annual awards banquet.  Athletes, along with their parents, met in the Crestview auditeria for a dinner and ceremony in which football players and cheerleaders were recognized for their accomplishments and honors.  For the 2014 season, the coaching staff accredited a number of athletes with special awards.  Captain awards were given to Jake Lippi, Preston Zaleski, and Jordan Roop.  Knight Pride Award recipients were Jake Lippi, Preston Zaleski, Seth Moser, Braden Brecht, Nick Jellison, and Alex Cunningham.   Northwest Conference players were also recognized:   Justin Overrmyer, Jordan Miller and Emilio DeLeon were given honorable mention, with Jordan Roop, Alec Ingram, Nick Jellison, Corban Grubb. and Scott Miller making the NWC Second Team.  First NWC Team players include Preston Zaleski, Jake Lippi, Nate Owens, and Seth Moser. Additionally, Preston Zaleski was named NWC Back of the Year.  The cheerleading advisors also acknowledged two outstanding squad members: Paige Michael, Most Valuable Cheerleader and Eden Allison, Most Spirited Cheerleader; these awards were selected by their fellow cheerleaders.  Football and cheerleading scholar athletes include Braden Brecht, Jake Lippi, Jordan Roop, Chase Clark, Luke Gerardot, Isaiah Kline, Corban Grubb, Nick Henry, Nick Jellison, Seth Moser, Justin Overmyer, Sage Schaffner, Jake Tatum, Preston Zaleski, Eden Allison, Katie Hughes, Courtney Klinker, Hannah Leary, Olivia Leary, Whitney Smart, Sydnee Gamble and Paige Michael.  Pictured are football & cheerleading special award winners and scholar athletes.  Congratulations to all the Crestview Knight Cheerleaders and Football Players!

On Tuesday, November 18 at 4 p.m., Mycah Grandstaff signed an official letter of intent to run cross country and track at Grand Valley State University, a Division 2 athletic program.  Mycah has been an integral part of the success of the Crestview cross country and track programs.  Mycah’s cross country accomplishments include memberships in the all-district team, all-regional team and a state qualifier in each of his four years as a runner.  He was acknowledged as an all Northwest Conference cross country runner in 2011, 2013, and 2014, with a First Team All-Ohio designation in 2013 and 2014.  In the track arena, Mycah was a top ten placer in the state track meet during 2013 and 2014.  He is also a two time All-Ohio competitor in track and field.  His previous accomplishments designate he was an All-County track champion in multiple events, previous All-Conference champion in the 3200 meter run, and a previous district champion and record breaker in the 3200 run. Currently, Mycah runs for coaches Jeff Bagley (Cross Country) and James Lautzenheiser (Track) at Crestview.

Reserved seats for Crestview boys’ basketball games are currently on sale.  Blue reserved seat reminder/application cards have been mailed to last year’s reserved seat ticket holders. If you did not receive your blue application card, please contact the athletic department.  Anyone who is interested in purchasing a reserved seat for the 2014-15 basketball season may do so by contacting the Crestview Athletic Department at 419-749-9100, ext. 3.  Each reserved seat is $60.  Reserved seats may also be selected by visiting the athletic department on Monday, November 24th from 
6-7 p.m.
All-sports passes are also available for the winter sports season.  An adult all-sports pass is $75.  A student all-sports pass is $35.  Any student interested in purchasing a boys’ basketball season ticket may do so for $30.
Pre-sale tickets for boys’ basketball will be available on Fridays from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in the athletic department office.  Pre-sale tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students.  All tickets at the door will be $6 read more...
