Crestview Elementary students, from Mrs. Tinnel’s class, had their book “Holidays of the Year” published by Studentreasures.  Holidays of the Year is a collection of written and illustrated short stories, by students, about each holiday that falls throughout the calendar.  Students were able to describe the holiday that they selected and designate the importance of the day.  Throughout the unit, students were able to learn about the publishing process while simultaneously improving their writing skills.  Pictured are the authors and illustrators of “Holidays of the Year”:  Brandon Coyne, Mattie Leppard, Jayden Renner, Peyton Goings-Hughes, Avery Figley, Ashley Motycka,  Adalynn Longstreth, Melody Puckett, Kaygen Bogle, Kamden Thompson and Jullian Moore (absent:  Brynn Mollenkopf).
